My family gathered at my parents' house for the annual Hadfield Halloween extravaganza. Russ borrowed a super nice camera lens from work and took hundreds (seriously) of pictures. I have whittled it down to the best 50 or so ;) but if you only look at five, it should be these:
Davis was the cutest cowboy. Ever. In the history of the world.
I love my daddy, and I'm so glad he was feeling so well this fall!
My mom is amazing. And beautiful.
Thanks to cousin Kahler for letting up borrow his authentic getup, Davis was dressed to the hilt.
Callie was an Indian princess. I figured I might not have many years when I can dress the kids according to a theme for Halloween. And the fact that I had a costume to borrow (thanks, Lynette!) didn't hurt.

After the party, the kids had fun playing in the leaves for a very long time.
Some kids liked having leaves thrown on them more than others...
Sweet Abbie puts up with a lot from her younger cousins.
She is the only girl cousin in state except for Callie.
She is counting down the time until Callie can do girly things with her.
Our Halloween festivities this month included carving pumpkins.
I'm not sure why Davis felt he needed to wear my sunglasses.
He is his own person.
On Halloween, we had visits from some of our favorite people, Ellie & Lynlee Spencer.
It is so hard to get three kids to smile at once, especially when one of the kids is Davis.
Davis had a blast trick-or-treating.
We only went to a few homes around the neighborhood before we headed to Lynette's house for trick-or-treating with cousins.
Our cute neighbor, Joy Thompson, got all dolled up as Effie Trinket from The Hunger Games.
Davis wasn't sure what to think of her.
It was a great holiday. Davis looks forward to Halloween all year long.
