Routine

I am trying so hard to get Davis in a routine for naps, feeding, etc. However, it seems like just when I have got a routine going, something changes--usually it is some medical event in my life (can you say gall bladder surgery?!). This week actually seems to be going pretty well!

A Tall Drink of Water

So Davis is officially unusually long! We had his 4-month checkup today. He measured in at 26.75 inches and 16 pounds 4 ounces. His weight is only in the 75th percentile, but he is in the 95th percentile for height! Hopefully, if he turns out to be extremely tall, he'll be extremely coordinated too!

Chris Johnson Rocks!

Just a quick comment on the progress of my Fantasy Football season. I tanked last week, but this week, Chris Johnson earned 45 points for me -- almost half of what I earned this week. Thanks, Chris! To add to the spirit of Fantasy Football season, and because Russ is playing Jon this week & I'm playing Laurie, Russ and I took all the ingredients for "We're Going to Kick Your Trash Milkshakes" to Jon & Laurie's last night. There's nothing like a chocolate milkshake to fiercely proclaim your superiority.

Roly Poly

Davis is four months old today!! It is hard to believe that just four short months ago, he couldn't jabber for ten minutes, laugh when I give him eskimo kisses, or smile when Russ is silly! He is changing so much!

He has been rolling onto his side a lot lately. He kicks his legs into the air until they are perpendicular to the floor, and then he rolls onto his side. Monday, he even rolled all the way onto his belly!

He also like to blow bubbles. He will blow and blow and blow until he has an entire beard of bubbles down his chin! He also likes to make the "brrrr" sound while he blows his bubbles.

He likes to eat his hands, his pajamas, his toy links -- anything he can put in his mouth!

I survived the NFL Fantasy Football Draft

And I came away unscathed, even though I had three men in my house trash talking. I didn't get any testosterone relief until Laurie showed up in round 10 or so.

This little guy slept the whole time with only one small interruption.

I think I'll keep him.
